In what order should I source loanable items for ILL?
For books and other loanable items, please search in this order:
- Your own library
- Libraries in your region/regional Koha
- Libraries in other regions/regional Kohas
- Other NHS libraries
- Local non-NHS collaborative networks
- Costed ILL services
Check the regional INC network rota for the order in which to approach regions for ILLs
Regional Kohas and other NHS libraries

Libraries unable to supply books: GEO, NPH
MIDS
North
SWIMS
For NHS libraries not in a regional Koha, use HLSID to find their catalogues
