How do I login to the Hub and why?

The Knowledge and Library Hub works best when you are logged in with your NHS OpenAthens username and password.

If you login at the start of your search session you will ensure you are shown the right version of the Hub for you. This is important as different NHS organisations are linked to different Knowledge and Library Services and these may have purchased resources to better meet the needs of their users.

Logging in at the start of your session should mean that any links you follow from your search will also be logged in saving you time.

To access the main NHS England wide route into the Hub visit www.library.nhs.uk/knowledgehub and click "Start your search"

On the Hub look for the bar at the top of the page inviting you to Login with OpenAthens.

If you do not have an OpenAthens username then visit https://openathens.nice.org.uk/ to register.
